Mobile photography.
What is Mobile Photography?
Mobile photography is the phrase used to describe photographic images taken with a mobile device such as a phone, iPod or tablet device like an iPad, over time phone camera lenses have been improved from the first camera being 110,000-pixels to the better iPhone 7's 12MP camera. On top of this the amazing variety of inexpensive applications (apps) available which has created a rich and diverse culture.

Roger Clay.
Roger Clay is a mobile photographer but the majority of his photos are in black and white. I think he does this on purpose, I feel that his images are aimed at an older generation therefor they will appreciate the black and white in the images-as they was no colour in photographs back then, I also have noticed that roger seems to use very focus point, his focus always varies depending on what he wants to take it off.Roger uses a high depth of field meaning that all of his images are sharp.
Steve Mayes.
Steve Mayes is an architecture photographer with his own successful business,
The early years of his career involved working with film and a darkroom, and even when he moved to digital in 2004 his output continued to be exclusively black and white. Initially he stuck to selling prints in local shops and galleries, and through an online shop. He also has a website, which has a heavy focus on Newcastle photos this is in which is his mobile photography pieces. In most of his images he seems to make sure there is a variety in colour, he seems to use black and white filters towards old buildings and the ones with plenty of colour on newer modern designs.

Editing
My plan for the German beer shop is to create a sense of how the place I live in are able to accept different types of people and are very open to immigration, I have chosen to do this as its fits in with my roger clay research as I am choosing to use black and white in my editing and also the UK have left the European Union this has left into many percentage increases in racial abuse throughout England (to all people) so by doing this I am showing that Britain still like having a huge range of races in our British society.
The plan for my baubles editing is to create a bright atmosphere what will reflect on the Christmas period.

German beer hut:
Image 1 & 2 I was blurring out the walkway in order to make sure the focus point was on the signs showing 'German'.
Image 3 I changed the contrast which made the people in the background darker it also helped the wooden effect stand out.
Image 4 & 5 I done some small changes to the blurring and image 5 is it finished.
Image 6 I was going to change the brightness however it took away the feeling of importance in the word Germany.
Image 7 I changed it black and white beforehand.
Bauble editing:
Image 1 I used a radial focus point in order to keep one of the baubles in focus.

Evaluation
I found taking pictures easy however because of the quality of images (when I changed to my older phone to save battery) I struggled to edit most images and I also found it hard coming up with plans for my image as my phone was not good enough to take high quality pictures.
